Olive Jorgensen • 1926 - 2007 Olive was born May 24, 1926 in Aberdeen, SD, the daughter of Sidney and Selma Hirsch. She was raised and educated in Aberdeen, graduating from high school there. She later graduated from the University of South Dakota at Aberdeen. Olive was once married to Don Jorgensen. They lived in Aberdeen until the late 1950's when they moved to Wahpeton, ND. Olive moved to Minot in 2002. Olive loved playing Bridge and enjoyed getting together with her family and friends. Those who shared in her life, Son, Jeff Jorgensen and his wife Mollie, Minot; daughter, Peg Walters and her husband John Marinello, Boca Raton, FL; four grandchildren, Tana (Rob) Brennan, Joel Ferguson, Lisa (Dane) Fosburg and Krista Jorgensen; three great-grandchildren, Ryan and Rowan Brennan, and Dylan Fosburg. Olive was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Selma Hirsch. Memorial Service: Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Officiant: Rev.
