Andrea "Ann" Marie Jones 1960 - 2006

Andrea "Ann" Marie Jones, 45, 924 24th Ave NW, Minot, died Sunday, February 26, 2006, in a Minneapolis, MN, hospital from leukemia.

Ann was born on July 26, 1960, in Anchorage, AK, on Elmendorf Air Force Base, the daughter of Ronald D. and Patricia M. (Stender) Davis. She lived in San Angelo, TX, Oxenhill, MD, Charleston, SC and Bay City, MI. In 1977 she graduated from Thomas L. Handy High School, Bay City, MI.

Ann joined the United States Air Force in 1979 and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX for Basic Training, Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, TX, Osan Air Force Base, South Korea, Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, NE, Lindsey Air Station, Weisebaden, Germany, Sembach Air Base and Ramstein Air Base, both in Kaiserslautern, Germany and Minot Air Force Base, Minot, ND, where she retired from the Air Force as a Technical Sergeant in 1999. She was awarded the United States Meritorious Service Medal and a Certificate of Appreciation signed by President Bill Clinton.

Ann was united in marriage to Raymond Fred Jones on April 11, 1992, in Las Vegas, NV. The couple had three children Sara-Ann, Thomas and Tiffany. After retiring from the Air Force, Ann attended Minot State University seeking a degree in Accounting and her Certified Public Accountant Certificate. She was published in the National Deans List in 2004 and 2005 and was nominated to the National Deans List in 2005 and 2006.

Ann was very active with her son's Cub Scouts Pack #425 where she served as treasurer, her daughter's Girl Scout Troop #118 and the Lewis and Clark Parent Teachers Association She was a life member of the Girl Scouts and the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors: husband, Raymond and children, Sara-Ann M. Wagner, Thomas R. Jones and Tiffany R Jones all of Minot; parents, Ronald and Patricia Davis; Prescott, MI; sister, Patrice M. Davis and her husband, Robert Monroe, Redmond, WA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her brother, Ronald D. Davis II.

Funeral Service: Friday, March 3, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.

Visitation: Thursday, March 2, 2006, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
