Ruby I. Johnson 1924 - 2007 Ruby was born on January 1, 1924, the daughter of Ole and Ruth (Ormbreck) Peterson in Alida, MN. She was reared and educated in the Berwick and Rugby area, graduating from Berwick High School in 1943. Following her graduation, she lived in Minneapolis, MN for several years. On October 10, 1953, she was united in marriage to Harold Johnson., in Mandan, ND. Following their marriage, they lived North of Minot, before moving to a farm near Granville/Denbigh in 1959. She worked at various businesses, and also assisted with the operations of the farm. In 1971, a house fire made them move into Granville. Harold died on July 22, 1973. She moved into Minot in 1982, and worked as a meat cutter for Cloverdale Meats until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Minot, and a former member of the Denbigh Homemakers club. She enjoyed crocheting and most of all playing Bingo.
