Regina M. Johnson 1927 - 2005

Regina M. Johnson, 77, Minot, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in a Minot Hospital.

Regina M. Ell was born June 10, 1927 in Devils Lake, ND the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth (Kessler) Ell. She was reared and educated in the Minot area, graduating from St. Leo's high school.

She worked for Woolworth's department store, before she married Donald Johnson, February 5, 1948 at St. Leos Catholic Church, Minot. They made their home in Minot. Where Donald worked for the Great Northern Railroad, and Regina raised their family.

Regina was very active in the Right to Life organization. She was a delegate from North Dakota at a national convention in San Francisco. She devoted herself to the right to life organization.

She is survived by: son: Denis (Shyla) Johnson, Minot. Sister, Helen Asleson, Portland, OR. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive

Daughters, Shelly Lynn Johnson, Cheryl Lee Johnson, Jeryl Marie Johnson, her husband Donald, her parents, and brothers Walter and William Ell preceded Regina in death.

Visitation: Sunday, January 23, 2005 from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Recitation of Holy Rosary: Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Mass Of Christian Burial: Monday, January 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in room 201 of the Minot Municipal Auditorium.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
