Marjorie K. Johnson 1917 - 2006 Marjorie K. Johnson, 89, Minot, died Tuesday, February 14,
2006, in a Minot nursing home. Marjorie returned to Glenburn and went to work at Montgomery Ward in Minot and the Glenburn Post Office until her marriage. Marjorie married John B. Johnson on November 8, 1939, at Marjorie's parent's home in Glenburn. The couple farmed in Elms and Chatfield Township, Bottineau County, before purchasing their own farm in Elms Township. They farmed until their retirement in 1982. In 1989, they moved to Minot, ND. John died on April 13, 1997. Marjorie moved into Trinity Homes in October of 2003. She was a member of Glenburn Baptist Church for over 50 years where she was a missions' treasurer and active in Women's Circle. She joined Immanuel Baptist Church after moving to Minot. She was also active with the Northwest Baptist Women's Conference and vice-president of the North Dakota Baptist State Convention 1978-1979. Marjorie helped start the Girl's Guild in ND. Marjorie loved sewing, crocheting, writing poems, gardening, baking, lawn mowing and taking walks on the prairie. Survivors: children, Sharleen (John) Birkimer, Louisville,

Joshua Anderson, Lindsay Anderson, and Amy (Steve) Mulroy; great
grandchildren, Grant, Madison, Sydney, Bethany, Cassidy, Jericho,
Kennedy, Molly, Quinn and Josiah. She was preceded in death by
her husband, John, her parents, and siblings, Sherman, Nutris,
