Delores June Smith Johnson
• 1925 - 2003 Delores June Smith Johnson, 78, Minot, formerly of Plaza, ND, died Sunday, December 7, 2003. Delores was born June 30, 1925, in Ryder, ND. She graduated from Parshall High School in 1943. On March 16, 1946, she married Clarence Johnson. They lived on the family farm in rural Plaza until they retired in 1991, when they moved to Minot. Clarence died on July 5, 1999. Recently Delores had resided at the Good Samaritan Center in Mohall. She is survived by her sons, Rick (Jane) Johnson, Dayton, NV, Russ (Dorene) Johnson, Keizer, OR, and Gary (Deb) Johnson, Grand Forks, ND; eight grandchildren, Kevin (Camilla) Johnson, Kelly (Steve) Bird, Kendall (Scott) Shiever, Brandon (Heather) Johnson, Brooke (Tim) Vice, Ryan (Kim) Johnson, Blaine Johnson, Kari Johnson; six great-grandchildren, Cody, Cassandra, Danielle, Jordan, Kianna and Kaleb; sisters, Mary Jane Kniser, Los Angeles, CA and Shirley (Wayne) Peery, Minot; sister-in-law, Vivian (Art) Forsman, Garrison, ND; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Delores was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, her parents and her two sisters. Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: Tuesday, December 9, 2003, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and just prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot Officiant: Rev.
