Donna Rae Johnson 1937- 2006 Donna Smith was born on May 1, 1937, the daughter of Ray and Edna (Sutter) Smith, in Minot, ND. She was reared and educated in the Minot area, graduating from Minot High School in 1955. On January 28, 1956, she was united in marriage to Alvin K. Johnson, in the Zion Lutheran Church, Minot. The couple made their home in the Minot area, where Donna was a homemaker. Donna was the secretary for the Mouse River Horseman Club. She enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her roses. Her family and friends will remember her organizing Christmas and birthday parties, her cooking and her graciousness as a hostess. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by: Husband, Alvin, Minot; children: Jordon J. Johnson, Minot, Robin L. Johnson, Minot; two grandchildren, Colton and Courtney, Minot; former daughter-in-law, Peggy Johnson, Minot. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald. Visitation: Friday, June 9, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Funeral Service: Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot. Officiant: Rev.
