Lee Jacobson PhotoLee Jacobson, 44, Bowbells, ND, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in his home.

Lee Scot Jacobson was born December 27, 1965, a son of Marlin D. and Pauline E. (Hermansen) Jacobson, in Kenmare, ND.  He was raised and educated in Bowbells, graduating from Bowbells High School in 1984. As a young adult, he assisted his parents with the operation of the family farms which were located in Burke and Ward County, ND.

Following his high school graduation, he continued farming with his father and brother. He had also custom combined for a couple of summers with Manfred Swenson. Lee was always very concerned about the trees on their farmland. He enjoyed trimming and tilling them back when he was able to.

He was baptized and attended Sunday school at the E.U.B Church in Bowbells.

Lee liked cars. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and was an avid Jeff Gordon fan. He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and the UND Fighting Sioux hockey team. Lee was very precise in everything he did, he always kept things neat and clean.

His loving family includes:  mother and father, Pauline and Marlin Jacobson, Bowbells;
brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Diana Jacobson, Bowbells; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Perry Bohl, Bismarck; and nieces and nephews, Amy (Eric) Anderson, and their son, Eli; Eric Jacobson, Joy Jacobson, Shayla (Jeff) Evink, and Bryce Bohl.

Lee was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herman and Josie Hermansen; paternal grandparents, John and Vera Jacobson; his brother, Gregory Jacobson; one aunt; and two uncles.

Final Resting Place: Bowbells Community Cemetery ~ Bowbells, North Dakota

Following the graveside service, please join the family for a time of fellowship and lunch in the fellowship hall of the church.
