Lorraine Jacobs 1922 - 2006 Lorraine Jacobs, 83, Minot, died Thursday, January 19, 2006, in a Minot nursing home. Lorraine Trihub was born April 1, 1922 the daughter of Henry and Lillian (Masuk) Trihub, in Max, ND. She was reared and educated in Max, graduating from Max High School in 1941. Following graduation, she moved to Bremerton, WA, where she was employed at the shipyards. In Bremerton, is also where she met Harold Jacobs. They were united in marriage on January 3, 1943. In 1945, when Harold was discharged from the Navy, they moved to East Moline, IL. In 1947, they moved to Max, and in 1955, moved into Minot, where Lorraine worked as a telephone operator at Northwest Bell, until her retirement in 1984. In June of 2001, she entered Trinity Homes, where she resided at the time of her death. The nursing staff at Trinity Homes was like an extended family to Harold and Lorraine, always lending a helping hand to them. Lorraine enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. She was a friend to all that knew her, and will be greatly missed. She was a baptized member of the Max Congregational Church, and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Minot. Lorraine is survived by: Husband, Harold E. Jacobs, Minot; daughter, Dorothy Jacobs, Bettendorf, IA; and a special friend, Marge Imbrock, Bettendorf, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers. Visitation: Monday, January 23, 2006 from 1:00 until service time at Trinity Homes Chapel, Minot Funeral Service: Monday, January 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Homes Chapel, Minot Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's Association or the Trinity Homes.
