Allen G. Iverson 1920 - 2006 Allan G. Iverson, 85, Minot, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, in a Minot nursing home. He was born November 22, 1920, in Velva, ND, the son of Fred and Amanda (Hammer) Iverson. He was raised and educated in Velva. In 1941, Allan went to work at Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica, CA. He worked there for a year and a half and on September 10, 1942, he entered the United States Navy serving during World War II. Allan was honorably discharged on from the Navy on December 8, 1945. Allan married Lillian Fuller in January of 1946, in California. Allan went to work as a truck driver in the San Francisco area until he retired and moved to Carson City, NV. Lillian died in 1995. Allan lived in Carson City until 1998, when he returned to North Dakota. Survivors: sister, Helen Scott, Minot; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian, his parents and brothers, Harold, George, Fritz, Ralph and Norman Iverson. Funeral Service: Thursday, March 9, 2006, at 10 a.m.
at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
