Annie L. Hills • 1926 - 2004 Annie L. Hills, 78, 300 South Main St. Velva, died Sunday, July 11, 2004, in a Velva nursing home. Annie was born on February 23, 1926, in Dunseith, ND, the daughter of David and Bertha (Patenaude) Kraft. She was reared and educated in Dunseith. She married Lloyd Hills on July 1, 1944, in Bottineau, ND. Over the years, the couple lived in North Dakota and Minnesota. Annie worked for Trinity Hospital in Minot as a Nursing Assistant in the pediatrics. She also worked as a cook for the Sawyer High School. In 2001, Annie and Lloyd entered the Souris Valley Care Center in Velva. Annie was a past member of the Sawyer Senior Citizens Center and birthday club. She loved fancy sewing work, cooking and playing cards. Survivors: husband, Lloyd, Velva; daughters, Shirley

death by her parents, and son-in-law, Larry Berg. Visitation: Thursday, July 15, 2004, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
