Kerry Hill-Reinert 1951 - 2006 She was born on February 10, 1951, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Robert and Francis ( Shaw ) Hill. She grew up on the family farmstead near Logan, ND. Her elementary and high school education culminated in her graduation from Minot High School in 1969. While in high school, she was involved in drama and dance in addition to traditional academics. Kerry remained a lifelong supporter of the performing arts and loved live music, dance and the theater. After high school, she attended several colleges and universities in California, New York, Minnesota and North Dakota. She received a Licensed Nursing Parishioners Diploma at Wahpeton, a Registered Nursing Associate Degree from Northland College, Thief River Falls, MN and a Liberal Arts Bachelors Degree from Albany, NY. Kerry's field of work included general medicine, addiction treatment and mental health. Her nursing career included an ongoing interest in natural healing and holistic health care. She was certified in therapeutic massage and owned and operated Meadowlark Massage and Wellness in Minot. She taught massage at Trinity Health in Minot through Williston State College. Kerry was a dedicated environmentalist. She cared deeply about the preservation of our natural resources and supported the development of alternative energy sources and building materials for environmental protection. She was an active member of the Dakota Resource Council. Kerry married Ted Reinert on March 18, 2004, in Portland, OR. They have remained inseparable companions until her death and shared common beliefs, ideas and interests. Survivors: husband, Ted, Minot; mother, Francis Hill,

knowing Kerry. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter,
