Berniece Veronica Helseth 1917 - 2005

Berniece Veronica (Dixon) Helseth passed into heaven June 10, 2005, at the age of 87 in a Minot nursing home. She was born on September 1, 1917, in Forfar, ND, to Clarence and Elizabeth (Behm) Dixon. She graduated from Lansford High School in 1936, and later graduated from Beauty School in 1938, in Minot. Berniece worked as a Nurses Aid at Deaconess and Columbus Hospitals in Great Falls, MT, and in 1981, she earned her LPN Degree.

She married Clarence S. Helseth, a farmer on June 21, 1941, in Minot and the couple resided in Wolseth and Deering. Berniece also lived in Great Falls, Montana and Minot. Berniece's hobbies included sewing, cooking and crocheting.

Survivors: her loving and caring sister, Dorothy E. Walker, Minot; daughters, Mae E. Gardner, West Chicago, IL, Clara L. Bergman, Burbank, CA, and Carol B. Roberts, Fountain, CO. Berniece V. Helseth is loved and remembered by her five grandchildren, Mike Gardner, Keith Gardner, Kim Poulin, Tom Sugg, Gary Roberts and Scott Roberts. Her memory will always live on through her four spectacular great-grandchildren, Brandon Roberts, Rhiannon Poulin, and twins Richard and Elizabeth Poulin.

Berniece was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence S. Helseth, her parents,
Clarence and Elizabeth Dixon, her brother, Vernon Dixon, son-in-law, Ron E. Bergman and brother-in-law, Lyle M. Walker.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Great Falls, MT.

Our family would like to thank all for the thoughtfulness of love
and care for our mother. We especially want to thank Dorothy E. Walker,
John A. Helseth, the Behm family, and also Helen and Donna Bistis for the caring and
loving support for our mother.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Visitation: Monday, June 13, 2005, and Tuesday, June 14, 2005, from Noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
