Yvonne G. Hanson • 1935 - 2008 Yvonne was born August 8, 1935, the daughter of Sidney and Gertie (Peterson) Cook in Granville, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1953. On July 6, 1958, she was united in marriage to Loran F. Hanson. They made their home in Minot, where Yvonne worked for Woolworth's Red Owl and Trinity Homes. Loran passed away on September 24, 2000. In July of 2007, she entered Souris Valley Care Center, Velva. She began her fight with cancer in January of 2007. She was truly born to be a grandma. Her family was her life and reason to keep fighting. She will be deeply missed. Surviving relatives include: Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister-in-law Juanita Hanson, brothers-in-law, Herb Erickson and Alfred Elston. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign a register book on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Memorial Service: Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot In lieu of flowers memorials to Souris Valley Care Center,
