James Dale Hanson • 1947 - 2005

James Dale Hanson, 57, Milaca, MN, died Monday, September 26, 2005, in a Minot nursing home.

James was born December 4, 1947 in Minot, ND, the son of Raymond and Agnes (Grosz) Hanson. He was raised and educated in Minot.

On January 7, 1964 he entered the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged March 24, 1966.

Jim will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He loved drawing and living in the North Woods of Minnesota watching the deer and the wildlife.

Survivors: daughter, Angel (Adrian) Walker; father, Raymond (Emily) Hanson, Brainerd, MN; sisters, Betty Hanson, St. Paul, MN and Connie (Galen) Eidahl, Minot; nieces and nephews, Monique, and David Hanson, Jason Eidahl, M.D., Pastor Mark (Elizabeth) Eidahl, and Wendy Eidahl; three grandchildren, Alexis, Jacob and Jace; three great-nieces and three great-nephews also survive.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Hanson, and a brother, Howard Hanson.

At Jim's request there will be no funeral service.

There will be a family gathering and a time for friends to sign the register book Saturday, October 1, 2005 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., on the first floor at Trinity Nursing Home, Minot, ND.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
