Alice M. Hanson 1950 - 2011 Alice M. Bingham was born on March 19, 1950, a daughter of Don and Alice (Clikeman) Bingham in Glenwood, MN. She was raised and educated in Columbus and Powers Lake, ND. On January 2, 1969, Alice was united in marriage to Albert Skalicky. Following their marriage, they lived in a farm near Powers Lake, ND, where Alice raised the couple’s five children. Albert died in September of 1984. Following his death, Alice moved to Minot. On February 14, 1997, Alice was united in marriage to Ralph K. Hanson. They made their home in Minot, where Alice worked for a time for Lydia’s Café and Earth Recycling. Ralph died March 28, 2011. Alice was a very giving person. She enjoyed visiting with people, playing cards and cribbage, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also was an animal lover. Alice was a member of the 2nd Story Club of Minot, where she spent several hours playing pool, and other activities. Alice is survived by: Children: Don Skalicky, Joann Strobel, Louie Skalicky, Alan Skalicky and Robert Skalicky, all of Minot; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Alice was preceded in death by her parents, and infant daughter, her husband’s Albert and Ralph and one sister.
