Marjorie E. Hansen 1944 - 2009 Marjorie E. Nelson was born on April 20, 1944, a daughter of Arlin and Violet (Zacharias) Nelson in Kenmare, ND. She was raised and educated in Bowbells. On June 4, 1961, she was united in marriage to Martin H. Hansen at the United Methodist Church in Bowbells. They made their home in Bowbells, where Marjorie worked at the Tri City Cares in Stanley, the Bethel Home in Stanley and for the Kenmare Community Hospital. Marjorie, along with Martin also delivered the Minot Daily news for six years, never receiving a complaint. She was a member of the Bowbells Senior Citizens, American Legion Auxiliary, Rainbow for Girls club, where she was an Association Mother Advisor. Those who shared her life: Husband of 48 years, Martin, Minot; daughters Ester (Michael) Lewter, Chicago, IL, Latecia (Ruzhdi) Memeti. Chicago, IL, Ardis-Mary (Jason) Wedel, Minot; brother Steven (Gay) Nelson, Bismarck, ND; four grandchildren: Andrew Moore, Alisa Memeti, Ariane Moore, Alite Memeti; nieces: Katherine Poline, Minot; Belinda (John) Moen, Powers Lake, ND; nephew Richard Poline, Bismarck; great niece: Paige Moen and great nephew Austin Moen. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Verna Jane, sister Arlene Nelson, Noreen Poline and brother-in-law Bill Poline. The family will be receiving friends at a memorial gathering on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Bowbells Senior Citizens Center, Bowbells. At Marjories request a private graveside service will be held in the Spring of 2009 at the Bowbells Community Cemetery, Bowbells. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to
