Carol Halverson • 1949 - 2011

Carol P. Halverson, 61, Minot, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in a Minot hospital.

Carol Phyllis Falcon Halverson was born December 25, 1949 in Belcourt, North Dakota to John and Marie (Patnaude) Falcon. She was raised and educated in Belcourt, North Dakota and moved to Minot in the mid 60’s.  Carol raised her three children in Minot.

Carol met Mike Branigin in 1975 and he remained her significant other.

Carol always welcomed family and friends in her heart.  She had her favorites; however, she never expressed it but ….Everyone Knew Who They Were…

Carol loved having her grandchildren around as much as possible.  Carol made time to go visit family members and she truly enjoyed each of them.  She had a good sense of humor.  She lived a simple life that kept her content. She had a strong faith in God and kept it personal.  Carol did; however, share her faith with loved ones that were near to her heart.

Carol is survived by her daughter Dawn Halverson, sons Todd Halverson and Brian Halverson, Significant other Mike Branigin and four grandchildren Ronnie Halverson, David Halverson, Dylan Halverson and Olivia Halverson, Sisters Sharon (John) Hauser, Joyce (Tom) King, Lila Falcon, Yvonne (Ronnie) Nickols, Shelia Falcon Perez, Sister in Law Shannon (Johnny) Falcon; Brothers: Arlen (Loretta) Falcon, George (Wanda) Falcon, Victor Falcon, Duane Falcon, Keith (Carol) Falcon, Gary Falcon; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother and father along with her brother Johnny Falcon.

Visitation:  Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 2-5 at Thompson Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Liturgy of the Word:  Monday, July 25, 2011 at 10 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
