Terry A. Halseth 1942 - 2006 Terry was born May 2, 1942 in Minot, ND, the son of Oscar and Florence (Kiefner) Halseth. He was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School. Following graduation he attended Minot State College. On December 16, 1965 he entered the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He also served in Germany for a time and was honorably discharged on November 29, 1967. Following his discharge he returned to North Dakota. In 1980 he moved to Portland, Oregon, where he lived for 13 years and than moved to Fargo, ND. While in Fargo Terry worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital for two years. He then moved to Minot where he was employed at Target and at the Minot Air Force Base. Terry was a member of The Lighthouse Church in Minot. Survivors: Sisters, Donna Kennedy, Brush Prairie, WA, and Bonnie Monarchi, Mansfield, OH; brothers, Donald Halseth, Harlan Halseth and James Halseth, all of Minot, Darrell Halseth, Kalama, WA, and Kenneth Halseth, Sparks, NV; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Florence Halseth; infant sister, Marjorie Halseth; sister, Betty Banna; brother, Robert Halseth; sister-in-law, Janis Halseth; nieces, Linda Kennedy and Peggy Hall; two uncles, Alvin and Elmer Halseth. Memorial Service: Friday, December 1, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lighthouse Church, located at 1400 5th St. SW, Minot, ND. There will be no reviewal, cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register book Friday one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial: The burial will take place at a later time at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Officiant: Rev.
