Robert Halseth • 1936 - 2006 Robert was born June 8, 1936 in Minot, the son of Oscar and Florence Halseth. He was raised and educated in Minot. Robert married Janice Marie Herzberg in December of 1956. They lived in Minot, where they raised their five children. He enjoyed woodworking, yard work, working on his truck, spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Scooby. Robert was a Professional Truck Driver his entire life. His wife Janice died April 10, 1998. Survivors: Son, Wesley (Crystal) Halseth, Minot; daughters, Judith (Rick) Reiswig, Omaha, NE, Kathy (Monte) Gimbel, Hudson Oaks, TX, Kelly Halseth, Minot, Brenda (Ron) Bishop, Omaha, NE; 12 grandchildren, Leslie, Krista, Kyle, Tyler, Chad, Mandy, Bethany, Joey, Jordan, Brandon, Randi and Joshua; brothers, Donald, Terry, Jim and Harlan Halseth, all of Minot; Darryl Halseth, Vancouver, WA and Kenneth Halseth, Sparks, NV; sisters, Donna Kennedy, Vancouver, WA, and Carol Monarchi, Mansfield, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Halseth; his parents, Oscar and Florence; sister, Betty Banna. Memorial Service: Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Officiant: Rev.
