Leonore Hale 1906- 2006 Leonore was born on November 6, 1906 to Tom and Annie (Fleckten) Olson in Kenmare, North Dakota. She married Albert Lerfald in Maxbass, North Dakota on July 28, 1928. They had one daughter, Beverly. They operated the grocery stores at Eckman and later at Maxbass for a number of years. After selling the Maxbass grocery store, they purchased a clothing store in Mohall and later in Watford City, North Dakota. They retired in 1966 and moved to King City, Oregon. Albert died on July 17, 1971 in Portland, Oregon. On July 13, 1975 Leonore was married to Clarence Hale. Clarence died in Portland on September 17, 1979. Leonore entered the Kenmare Nursing Home in February, 1995. Leonore is survived by one grandson, Paul McIntosh, niece Marla Freitas, niece Linda Elliott, and nephew Dean Mortenson, niece, Janet Ballantyne and nephew Lloyd Lerfald. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. Leonore is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Annie
