Adele Claire Hager 1927 - 2004
Adele Claire Hager, 77, of Phoenix, AZ, died on September
2, 2004 at the Agape Group Home in Scottsdale, AZ.
Adele was born August 2, 1927 in Rugby, ND to Clair and Gladys
(Blessum) Heidlebaugh. She was raised on the family farm northeast
of Rugby and attended country school. The family moved to a farm
southwest of Rugby in 1940. She graduated from Rugby High School
in 1945. She attended the University of North Dakota in Grand
Forks. She worked dockside in Seattle, WA doing office work for
a time.
She married Edward J. Bosch of Knox, ND on March 6, 1948 and
made their home in Minot, ND. They were divorced in 1967. Later
she was married to Ralph Hager, Jr. She worked as secretary for
Concrete Mobile and Craft Builders and was bookkeeper for The
Orthopedic Surgery Associates for many years. She retired and
moved to Phoenix in 2002 where she lived near her son, Colin.
She enjoyed hobbies and was a very talented oil painter, made
porcelain dolls, crocheted, knitted and worked with ceramics.
She loved gardening, especially her roses.
Her loving family includes: B. Kent Bosch, his wife Brenda, of
Estes Park, CO; Colin Bosch, his wife Holly, of Phoenix, AZ;
Kimberly Brown, her husband Carey, of Denver, CO; Kendall Bosch,
his wife Kitty, of Galveston, TX; and Carter Bosch, Minot. Grandchildren:
Virginia Boyle, Ryan Bosch, Melanie Bosch, George Sensabaugh,
Paul Brown, Shawn Brown, Shannon Brown and Jared Brown. Great
grandchildren: Shelby and Abigail. Brother, Eldon Heidlebaugh
and sister, Judy Jelsing, both of Rugby. Several nieces, nephews
and cousins, an aunt and uncles. She was preceded in death by
her parents, former husbands, and sister, Elaine Sornsin.
Memorial Service: Friday, September 24, 2004 at 11
a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Minot, ND
Visitation: Thursday, September 23, 2004, from 9 a.m.
until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND
Burial: Friday, September 24, 2004 at 3 p.m. at Pricilla
Watts Cemetery, Rugby, ND.
