Tillie Haberlock • 1917 - 2009

Tillie Haberlock, 91, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at ManorCare Health Service, Minot.

Ottelia "Tillie" Deibert was born June 12, 1917, a daughter of Anthon and Theresa (Klein) Deibert, in Verendrye, ND. She was raised and educated in the Verendrye area.

Tillie married Mike Haberlock July 18, 1935, in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada. They made their home on a farm near Norwich, ND, and continued to farm until 1971, when they moved to Minot. Michael passed away May 18, 1988.

She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.

She enjoyed having family and friends over for lunch, and anyone who came over had to eat.

Surviving family includes: children, Theresa (Willie) Schock, Minot, Donald Haberlock, Portland, OR, John (Hazel) Haberlock, Laurel, MT, J. Gerald Haberlock, Portland, OR, and Duane (Gayla) Haberlock, Minot; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Deibert, Velva, Andrew Deibert, Minot, and Martin Deibert, Towner; sisters, Kathryn Miller, Towner, and Helen Burckhard, Towner; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tillie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael; brothers, Joe and Frank Deibert; and sisters, Mary Bohl and Elizabeth Dosch.

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, January 31, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Friday from Noon to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Friday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: Tillie's family suggests memorial contributions be made to Minot Catholic Schools.
