Gregoire • 1930 - 2002 Marian "Mayme" Gregoire, 72, Kenmare, died Thursday, September 26, 2002, in the Kenmare hospital. She was born on March 28, 1930, in Max, ND, to Mike and Clara (Faydo) Hubsky. She was raised in rural Max and attended grade school there. She graduated from Donnybrook High School in 1947. She worked at the grocery story in Donnybrook. She married Michael Gregoire on April 20, 1949, in Donnybrook. They lived and farmed in the Donnybrook and Kenmare areas. Michael died on August 23, 1990. Marian moved to Minot for a short time until returning to Kenmare, where she was employed at the 52 North Restaurant, Wheels and Meals, Kenmare Public Schools and Cindy's Café, all of Kenmare. She was also active in a catering business and served on the Kenmare Hospital board. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and the St. Agnes Altar Society, Kenmare. She was also a former member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the St. Anthony's Altar Society, Donnybrook. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Edward (Connie) Gregoire, Minot and Michael Kenneth (Cathy) Gregoire, San Diego, CA; daughters and sons-in-law, Jody (Curt) Olson, Kenmare, Joan Bennett, Bangor, ME and Karen (Randy) Richter, Rugby; 12 grandchildren, Justin Korolsky, Jennifer Kroft, Jill Korolsky, Mac Haskins, Marty Haskins, Mindy Haskins, Mitchell Haskins, Michael Gregoire, Amy Richter, Matthew Richter, Justin Bennett and Joshua Gregoire; three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan and Julie; sisters, Georgean Jones, Helen Thompson and Eileen Hubsky, all of Grand Forks. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and one sister. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Agnes Catholic Church Kenmare. Rosary: Sunday, 7:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kenmare. Marian's family is honoring her request that there be no reviewal and cremation has taken place. Friends may sign a register one hour prior to the rosary and the service at the church. Private burial will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Kenmare.
