Judy Kay Green 1945 - 2002

Judy Kay Green, 57, 14 19th St. NW, Minot, died Thursday, June 27, 2002, in her home.

Judy was born February 9, 1945, in Rochester, Indiana, the daughter of Wesley and Chloris Cheesman. She was raised and educated in Rochester where she graduated from high school. She attended two years of college.

In 1967 she married James Green in Rochester. James was stationed in different parts of the world with the United States Air Force, during which time Judy raised their family in Rochester. In 1980 they moved to Minot where they since have lived.

Judy was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and of the Minot Quilters Association. She enjoyed crocheting, and making afghans and baby quilts, which many people in this area have been able to enjoy. She was a people person and enjoyed spending time at the casinos. When her children were in high school she was very involved in taking them to their sporting events, especially soccer, which she followed closely. She was a past member of the Minot Women's Bowling Association.

Survivors: Husband, Jim, Minot; sons, Michael (Janet) Green, Burlington, and David (Candace) Green, Wahpeton; three grandchildren, Brock and Brittany Green, and Sidney Budeau; mother, Chloris Cheesman; sisters, Nita Baker and Sheri Puckett; brothers, Larry and Jim Cheesman, all of Rochester, IN; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Cheesman.

Funeral Service: Final arrangements for funeral and burial will take place at the Foster and Good Funeral Home, 128 West 6th St., Rochester, Indiana, 46975.

Reviewal: Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.
