Marjorie was born October 19, 1931, in Muskegon, MI, the daughter of Gordon and Ruth (Munro) Lucht. As a young girl, the family moved to Russell, ND, and Marjorie was reared and educated there. She worked for the Red Owl Store in Bottineau, ND. On June 3, 1951, she married Ernie Gravseth in Russell. They lived in the Bottineau area until 1954 when they moved to Minot. She was a loving, caring, and very unselfish person, working as a caregiver and also did some babysitting up until the time of her death. She will be missed greatly. Marjorie was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Minot, and was very active with the church functions. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Ernie Gravseth, Minot; sons, Ernest "LeRoy" (Conchita) Gravseth, Poplar Bluff, MO, and Dan (Jeanette) Gravseth, Bismarck, ND; daughter, Cyndy "Sis" (Kelby) Smith, Minot; eight grandchildren, Ernest "Monty" Gravseth, Adam Gravseth, David Gravseth, Anthony Gravseth, Amber Gravseth, Shaun Gravseth, Chelsey Gravseth, and Kyson Smith; two great-grandchildren, Andrea Gravseth and Carter Gravseth; sisters, Betty Johnson, New York, Mary Sue Fredricksen, California, and Bev Geklhen, Ohio; brother, Robert Lucht, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Funeral: Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 2:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Minot. Visitation: Wednesday, February 21, 2007 from noon until 7:00 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
