Charles Francis Goldsborough, Jr., 59, of Okinawa, Japan, died on June 3, 2009, at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA.

Charles Goldsborough was born on March 12, 1950, in Baltimore, MD, to Charles F Goldsborough and Irma S Goldsborough. He graduated from Dundalk High School in Baltimore, MD.

He joined the Army in 1978 and retired from the military in 1999. He followed his wife, Mary Goldsborough of Minot, to Okinawa, Japan where he was a Library Technician at Stearley Heights Elementary School on Kadena Air Force Base and an Office Automation Clerk at Ryukyu Middle School also on Kadena Air Force Base.

He is survived by his wife Mary Wax Goldsborough, Minot/Okinawa, son Benjamin Goldsborough, Jacksonville, NC, daughter Genevieve Goldsborough, Okinawa, mother Irma Goldsborough, Kingsland, TX, sister, Nancy Raymond, Kingsland, TX, brother Ronald Goldsborough, Houston, TX.

Visitation: Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from noon until 7 p.m. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 5 until 7 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Vigil Prayer Service: Tuesday, 7 pm in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, June 10, 2009, 10 am at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot, ND

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
