Lorraine R. Goldade, 74, Minot, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in a Minot nursing home.

Lorraine Rose Braun was born April 8, 1933 in Minot, ND, the daughter of Max and Edna (Reinke) Braun. She was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1951.

On July 3, 1956 Lorraine married Harold Goldade in Minot. They made their home in Minot where they raised their six children. Lorraine was a bookkeeper for various businesses in the community, including Talbott Nursery, Minot Union Trades Credit Union and Minot Livestock Auction. While working at Minot Livestock Auction Lorraine was also office manager and auction clerk. Her husband Harold passed away on March 6, 1975.

Lorraine was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Minot Labor Temple. Lorraine was also an active member and served as president in the B.P.W. - Business and Professional Women's Club. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, bowling, cooking and canning.

Those who shared in her life, Daughters, Denyse (Chris DeRoest) Goldade, Stayton, OR, and Dianna (Raymond) Hegle, Menoken, ND; sons, Bruce (Linda) Goldade, Tiverton, RI, Allen (Kathy) Goldade and Richard (Melissa) Goldade, all of Glendale, AZ, and Michael (Melinda) Goldade, Minot; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mariea (Leonard) Nelson, Minot; brothers, William (Barbara) Braun, Minot, and Marvin (Kathy) Braun, Minneapolis, MN; sisters-in-law, Betty Braun and Evangeline "Van" Braun, both in Minot; brother-in-law, Cliff Ebberson, Milton Freewater, OR; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; grandson, Jordan Goldade; her parents; brothers, Robert and Bernard Braun, and sister, Wilma Ebberson.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.

Visitation and vigil prayer service: Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2008, from noon to 7:00 p.m., with the vigil prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: A private graveside will be held at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
