Mark Goettle 51, Bismarck, formerly of Donnybrook, died Monday , October 27, 2008 in his home.

Mark Allen Goettle was born on February 8, 1957, a son of Dale and Betty (Limke) Goettle in Kenmare, ND. He was raised and educated in the Donnybrook area.

On November 19, 1974, Mark enlisted into the United States Navy. He proudly served his country aboard the USS Goldsborough until his honorable discharge on May 9, 1978, when he enlisted into the Naval Reserve until being honorably discharged November 18, 1980.

Mark was once married to Roxanne Little, to this union was three children, Talica, Dustin and Bo.

Mark worked as a custodian in California, and throughout North Dakota, settling in Bismarck, ND. He enjoyed working with his dad on the family farm, and spending time with family outdoors.

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by: maternal grandfather Charles "Charlie" Limke, paternal grandparents Herb and Nora Goettle

Visitation: Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 6-7 at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Minot

Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday at 5 pm at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Funeral Service: Friday, October 31,, 2008 at 11 am at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
