Edith Goettle • 1950 - 2008 Edith Marie Bruhn was born June 23, 1950, a daughter of Roy R. and Eletha M. (Hansen) Bruhn, in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Blaisdell and Palermo, ND, before moving with her family to Minot. She graduated from Minot High School in 1968. She then attended the Minot College of Business, graduating from there in 1969. She moved to Bremerton, Washington, where she started her civil service career. She worked for the government in several locations including the Minot Air Force Base, finally retiring from the Fish and Wildlife Department at Kenmare. Edith married Leon Goettle June 30, 1984, in Tagus, ND. Edie enjoyed all things western, especially rodeos. She was an avid supporter of the White Earth and Blaisdell rodeos. Her loving family includes: husband, Leon, Donnybrook; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Eletha Bruhn; brother, Richard Bruhn.
