EthelMae Connelly was born November 23, 1929, the daughter of Patrick and Edith (Fifer) Connelly on the family farm near Lawton, ND.

EthelMae was married to Milo Gladback November 15, 1948, in St. Lawrence Church, Perham, MN. They made their home in Richville, MN, for a short time before moving to Fargo, and finally to Minot in 1956. They were members of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.

EthelMae had a great love for gardening, her family and our Lord, Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who were a part of her life.

Surviving family includes: husband of 59 years, Milo, Minot; children, Pat Townley, Minot; Pam (Ron) Vannett, Mark (Cherie) Gladback, all of Minot, Mary (Bruce) Kester, Burlington; Cathy (Bill) Donald, Minot; Jeff (Sharon) Gladback, Salt Lake City, UT; and Steve (Kathy) Gladback, Minot; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, William Connelly, Seattle, WA; sister, Mary Leith, Fargo, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

EthelMae was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Patrick Connelly; son, Mike Gladback; brothers, Dan, Jim and Clifford; sisters, Blanche, Frances, and Elizabeth Catherine.

Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
