Wayne Gieser 1963 - 2006

Wayne Gieser, 42, 727 12th St. NE, Minot, ND, died Saturday, January 7, 2006, in his home.

Wayne Leon Gieser was born on March 6, 1963, the son of Max and Carol (Steen) Gieser in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Minot and attended Minot Central Campus.

He was employed by Mack Concrete, Construction and Excavating Co., in Minot, ASK, Inc., B&W Floor Covering, and Smitty's Lawn Service.

He was a baptized and confirmed member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.

He enjoyed fishing and mechanical work. He was the jack of all trades.

Surviving family includes: mother, Carol Rosenthal, and step-father, Bernard Rosenthal, Minot;
sisters, Linda (Randy) Nielsen, and Judy (Steve) Hoff, both of Minot; brothers, Joe Gieser, Minot; Bruce (Paula) Gieser, Lake Havasu City, AZ; step-brother, Ron Rosenthal, Minot; step-sister, Kathy (Steve) Gladback, Minot;aunts and uncles, Cora Shieferstein, Casper, WY, Vernon Steen, Burlington, and Howard Steen, Minot; nieces, Janell Gieser, Brittany Nielsen, Brianna Gieser, and Bethny Hoff;
nephews, Brady Nielsen and Alex Hovde.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father; brother, Kevin; maternal grandparents, Carl and Edna Steen, and uncle, Selmar and Leonard Steen.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.

A private family burial will take place at a later date at Rosehill Memorial Park.

Visitation: Visitation will be on Tuesday from Noon to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
