Gefroh • 1909 - 2009 Lena was born in Towner, North Dakota to Peter and Mary Anna Jager on October 8, 1909. In 1939, Lena was united in marriage to Peter Gefroh. Together they lived in Karlsruhe until Peter's death on September 13, 1973. Lena was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and was a church organist at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe for many years. Lena excelled in sewing, knitting, and crocheting and was active in the Karlsruhe community throughout her life. Lena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven sisters and two brothers. Lena had a fulfilling life and is survived by three sons, Raymond (Lolita) Gefroh, Fort Collins, Isidore (Ruth) Gefroh, Orlando, FL and James of Fort Collins; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Karlsruhe on Tuesday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. with interment following at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery beside her beloved husband, Peter. Friends are invited to join with the family for a lunch after the services. Memorial Contributions may be made to Pathway Hospice of Colorado.
