Katherine Gange 1916 - 2002 Katherine Gange, 86, Karlsruhe, died Saturday, December 21, 2002, in a Rugby Medical Center. Katherine Meyer was born on November 7, 1916 in Karlsruhe, ND, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer. She was reared and educated in Karlsruhe and married Paul K. Gange on February 28, 1935. They lived and farmed near Karlsruhe their entire married lives. He died in 1982 and she continued to live in Karlsruhe until moving to Rugby four years ago. She entered the long term care in Rugby one and a half years ago. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Karlsruhe and the Christian Mothers of the Church. She was also a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Survivors: Sons, Gerald (Helen) Gange, Punkin Center, Arizona, Dale (Elizabeth) Gange, Minot; Daughter, Gail (George) Wolf, Mesa, AZ, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, sister, Eva (August) Welk, Rugby, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer, her husband, Paul Gange, daughter, Paulette Gange Rohrer, brother, Richard Meyer and sisters, Mrs. Anton (Regina) Richter and Mrs. John (Johanna) Burchardsmeier. Funeral: Friday, December 27, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Karlsruhe, ND. Rosary Recitation: Thursday, December 26, 2002, at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND Burial: Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Karlsruhe, ND Visitation: Thursday, December 26, 2002 from noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
