Olive B. Galusha 1906 - 2005 Olive B. Galusha, 99, Minot, died Monday, March 28, 2005 in a Minot Hospital. Olive was born January 28, 1906, the daughter of Mark and Lillian Jane (Adams) Zorn, on the family homestead in Freeman Township, south of Minot. She was reared and educated in that area. On January 28, 1925, Olive was united in marriage to Roy Galusha in Minot. Following their marriage, they made their home on the homestead north of Rice Lake. They lived there for 10 years, before moving to Makoti. In 1955, the couple and their family moved to Minot. Roy passed away January 1957. Following Roy's death, Olive went to work in the housekeeping department at St. Joseph's Hospital in Minot. In 1962, she moved to Washington, where she spent the next 30 years. In 1994, at the age of 89, Olive made the trip from Washington to Minot, upon her arrival to Minot, she moved to Edgewood Vista, where she lived at the time of her death. She is survived by her children: Lawrence (Ethel) Galusha, Garrison, Charles (Viola) Galusha, Mobridge, SD, Olive June Galusha, Washington, Viona Nickle, Minot, and Russell (Karen) Galusha, Duvall, WA; 27 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; parents; children, Donald, Shirley, and Lila, all in infancy; son, Richard; grandsons, Jerry Joe and Jeff; three brothers and three sisters. Funeral: Thursday, March 31, 2005, at 2:30 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Chapel, Minot. Visitation: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 from noon-7:00 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Prayer Service: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
