Guy Frounfelter 1920 - 2002 Guy Frounfelter, 81, 5791 Hwy 2 West, Granville, died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at his residence of natural causes. He was born on May 15, 1920, in Temple, ND, the son of Roy and Anna (Hale) Frounfelter. He was reared and educated in Tioga. He moved to Mohall with his parents at a young age. He entered the United States Army on April 11, 1942, serving during World War II. He was honorably discharged on December 24, 1944. He married Alma Kunkel on October 23, 1941, in Plentywood, MT. The couple lived in Glenburn where Guy did custom combining and drove truck-hauling coal. In 1951, they moved to Granville where he lived and ranched until his death. Guy also sold Haybusters for over 30 years. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Granville and the
Granville American Legion, Burchett Beck Barnett Brown Post #155.
He was a former member of the North Dakota Stockman's Association. Funeral Service: Monday April 29, 2002, at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, Granville. Visitation: Sunday, April 28, 2002, from Noon until 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: Granville Community Cemetery. Officiant: Rev.
