Asta "Bergliot" Frick 1909 - 2002

Asta "Bergliot" Frick, 93, Velva, died Monday, October 28, 2002, in a Velva Care Center.

She was born on February 27, 1909, in Enebakkneset, Norway the daughter of Martin and Ragna Solberg. She was reared and educated in Norway and moved to the Kongsberg area in 1948. On July 17, 1948 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Minot, she married Ludwig Frick. After their marriage, they farmed for many years in the Voltaire area before moving into Velva. Ludwig died on December 30, 1998. The last several years she as lived at the Souris Valley Care Center. She loved little children.

She was a member of Oak Valley Lutheran Church, Velva.

She is survived by a daughter, Eunice Ragazinskas, Garrison, ND and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral: Friday, November 1, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Oak Valley Lutheran Church Chapel, Velva.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, on Friday, November 1, 2002 at 12:30 p.m.

Visitation: Thursday, October 31, 2002, from 4p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Velva.

Memorials are preferred to Souris Valley Care Center or Oak Valley Lutheran Church, both of Velva.
