Jon Steven Fox • 1960 - 2005

Jon Steven Fox, 45, Minot, died Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at his home.

He was born on February 20, 1960, in Akron, Ohio, the son of William and Jan (Nolan) Fox. At the age of six Jon moved with his mother to California where he was reared and educated.

Jon entered the United States Navy on August 29, 1977, and was honorably discharged on April 16, 1979. Jon married Rachel Atwood on April 1, 1989. The couple had three children together. Rachel died in February of 2001.

Jon attended Moorehead State University in Kentucky for three years and later attended Eastern Kentucky University. In the summer of 2003, he moved to Minot, ND, after the birth of his granddaughter, Savanna Fox.

Jon was also once married to Jonie Chrudler.

Survivors: children, William, Elizabeth, and Tiffany Fox, all of Minot; granddaughter, Savanna Fox, Minot; parents, William and Jan; one brother; sister, Alice Fox, California; two step-children; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his two wives, Rachel and Jonie.

Cremation has taken place and a private family internment will be scheduled at a later date.
