Nicholas Foley • 1987 - 2009 Nick came into this earthly world on February 4, 1987 in Minot, ND, to Lori Lachenmeier and Pat Foley. Nick grew up in the Bismarck area and attended schools in Bismarck and Velva. In 2002, Nick moved to Velva to live with his grandparents. While in Velva, he worked with his grandpa in the yard and landscaping business in and around Velva. In 2005, Nick went to work in the Western North Dakota Oil Fields. He worked for Ward Williston, Sun Well Service, Cyclone Drilling and most recently Carlson Well Service, jobs he truly loved, along with his love for older diesel pickups. He was a joy to everyone who knew him and he was worshipped by his two younger sisters, Caitlan and McKenna, whom Nick adored. Nick is survived by his mother, Lori Lachenmeier, Cosa Mesa, CA; his father, Pat Foley, Mandan; sisters, Caitlan and McKenna Foley, Mandan; step-brothers, Omar Foley, Mandan and Chris Foley, Bismarck; grandfather and grandmother, Herbert and Margaret Lachenmeier, Velva. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral: Friday, June 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Oak Valley Lutheran Church, Velva, ND. Burial: Velva Community Cemetery, Velva, ND Visitation: Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from noon until 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot and Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Velva.
