Evelyn Flygare • 1923 - 2010 Evelyn Fuller was born on September 7, 1923, a daughter of Hubert and Julia (Burgard) Fuller in Velva, ND. She was raised in Norwich, ND, where she graduated from school. Evelyn was united in marriage to Melvin E. Flygare on January 31, 1941. Together they owned and operated the Kenmare Laundry for several years, retiring in the 1980’s. Evelyn found great joy in the friendships she cultivated in the Kenmare, Bowbells and Powers Lake Senior Citizens. She loved flowers, birds, dogs and children. Evelyn was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tolley, and it’s Ladies Aid. Her spiritual life was very important to her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her. Evelyn is survived by: Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and six sisters. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 2 pm at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tolley, ND Officiant: Rev. Michael Swofford Music Honorary Bearers: Evelyn’s family and friends Graveside Service Immediately following the funeral service everyone is invited to join the family in the lower level of the church for lunch and fellowship.
