Robert F. Fleming 1939 - 2004

Robert F. Fleming, 66, 3221 7th St. SW, Minot, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004 in a Minot hospital.

He was born January 31, 1938, in Omaha, Neb., the son of Charles and Ruth (Cope) Fleming. He was reared and educated in Omaha and graduated from high school there. He was a carpenter and worked for several construction companies over the years and was also self employed at times. He came to Minot in 1969 while employed by Kewitt Construction. His most recent job was with Coal Creek and was forced to retire in 1989 due to his health.

In April 4, 1992, he married Jonelle St. Croix in Minot. Robert attended Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Minot. He was an avid fisherman and also loved cats, especially his own cat, Missy.

Survivors: wife, Jonelle, Minot; sisters, Sharon (Gary) Sparks, Bellflower, CA and Charlotte Fox, Omaha, Neb.; sons, Bobbie and Ricki Fleming, born to a previous marriage, California and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles and Roger.

Funeral: Monday, March 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Minot.

Visitation: Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Velva Cemetery in the spring of 2004.
