Pauline H. Ellingson 1927 - 2003

Pauline H. Ellingson, 76, 712 Forest Road, Minot, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at her home.

She was born January 21, 1927, in Fargo, ND, to Clara Tronson. She was raised in rural North Dakota and attended a country school in Parshall and graduated from Ray High School. She then started nurses training in Minot and graduated from Trinity School of Nursing in 1947. She worked at the John Moses Veterans Hospital in Minot and met her future husband there. On December 14, 1953, she married Mervin E. Ellingson in Carrington, ND. They lived in Minot where Pauline worked at Trinity Hospital as a registered nurse for several years and later as a night supervisor. She then worked for Dr. Amstutz until she retired.

Pauline was a very energetic and ambitious person. She was a very loving and caring mother. Her compassion for others was never ending.

Survivors: Husband, Mervin, Minot; sons, Gary, Arvilla, ND, Bruce and Dale and his wife, Karen, all of Los Angeles, John, Jeff and Cory, all of Minot; daughters, Gwen Steinberg, Minot, Becky Ellingson, Sioux Falls, SD and Diane Deschambault and her husband Gary, Minot; grandchildren, Jesse King, Shawn, Skyler, Weston and Mason Ellingson, Briana, Danielle and Eric Deschambault, Mikayla and Deanna Ellingson and Krishnaya, Baladeva and Chaitanya Ellingson.

Funeral: Friday, August 29, 200310:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

Visitation: Thursday, August 28, 2003 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
