Brian Elgie • 1929 - 2004 Brian D. Elgie, 75, Kenmare, died Saturday, August 14, 2004, in his home. Brian was born March 23, 1929, in Kenmare, ND, the son of Charles and Hilma (Mogren) Elgie. He was raised and educated in Kenmare and graduated from Kenmare High School in 1947. He then moved to Washington State and later to California. Following his retirement he moved back to Kenmare in 1996. Brian never married. Survivors: Brother, Vencile "Vence" (Donna) Elgie, Minot; four nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Lucille Thompson. There will be no reviewal or visitation, cremation has taken place. There will be a family graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery, Kenmare, ND, at a later date.
