Lee Edwards 1943 - 2011 Lee was born on January 19, 1943, a son of Milford and Mildred (Gleave) Edwards in Kenmare, ND. He attended grade school at the Diamond Township country school and high school at Coteau High School. On November 10, 1963, Lee was united in marriage to Diane Murray at Bowbells, ND. Following their marriage they made their home on the Edwards farm, where Lee farmed and raised cattle. For four years they managed the Bowling Alley in Stanley, ND. Lee loved spending time in the outdoors working with his livestock. He learned how to shear sheep from his father, and continued the trade throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards and was on a league for pool and bowling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed. Lee is survived by: Wife of 48 years, Diane, Kenmare, ND; Sons: Wade and his wife JoAnn Edwards and Randy and his wife Jill, all of Kenmare Five grandchildren: Cody, Jarret, April, Brooke and Kayla; two step grandchildren; Shana and Spencer and one great grandson Trey; step-great granddaughter Haley; mother Mildred Edwards, Kenmare; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Lee was preceded in death by his father Milford, son Jeffrey, infant daughter Verenda and his grandparents.
