Florence V. Eaton • 1914 - 2002 Florence V. Eaton, 87, Harvey, ND, formerly of Minot and Lignite, died Friday, August 2, 2002 in St. Aloisius Medical Center, Harvey, ND. She was born on September 5, 1914 in Lignite, ND, the daughter of Carl and Minnie (Johnson) Blom. She was reared and educated in Lignite, graduating from Lignite High School in 1933. She then attended Chicago Hairdressing academy in Fargo. On August 22, 1936 in Lignite, she married Leonard E. Eaton. They lived in various towns in Montana and North Dakota several years where he managed grain elevators. They owned and operated the Jack and Jill Grocery Store in Mohall from 1957 to 1958. In 1959, they moved to Minot where she owned and operated a beauty shop for a time. In 1979 they moved to Fessenden where they lived when her husband, Leonard died on September 2, 1985. She moved back to Minot in 1986 and resided there until moving into St. Aloisius Nursing Home in March of 2002. Florence was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, Minot, ND Survivors: son, Larry Eaton, Fessenden, ND; daughters, Sharon Hoffman, Goldendale, Washington and Sheila Eaton of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren. Funeral: Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, Minot, ND Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND Visitation: Tuesday, August 6, 2002 from noon until
