Glenn Leroy Dodd 1930- 2006 Glenn was born March 25, 1930 in Texarkana, TX, the son of Clyde and Minnie Dodd. As a young boy he farmed with his family on the family farm. He attended Red Water High School in Red Water, TX. He joined the Navy Reserve where he served one year and then joined the United States Air Force. He served 24 years and three months with the military and retired as a Technical Sergeant at the Minot Air Force Base. On July 24, 1952 Glenn married Annie Downs in Texarkana, TX. Glenn enjoyed flying small planes out of the Nash Airport in Texas. He was an avid motorcycle and Harley Davidson rider. He was baptized in the Baptist church of North Pole, Alaska. Survivors: Wife, Annie, Minot; sons, Charles Dodd and his companion, Terri Bonsness, Minot, and Larry (Jeanne) Dodd, Rapid City, SD; five grandchildren, Tasha (Christopher) Hauf and Shawn Dodd, Aleesha (Derek) Flom, Aric Dodd and Ashlyn Dodd; one great-granddaughter, Syrah Jeann Flom; sister, Hazel Rehak in Texas; several nieces and nephews also survive. Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Carl Dodd; his parents, Clyde and Minnie Dodd, and a brother, Carlos Dodd. Funeral: Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND. Officiant: Rev.
