Lorraine Diederich 1924 - 2003 Lorraine Diederich, 78, 600 South Main, Minot, died Saturday in a Minot nursing home. She was born May 31, 1924, in Breckenridge, MN, to Clarence and Walburga (Hoeschen) Bodson. She was reared and educated in Breckenridge, MN and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Breckenridge. Following graduation, she was a telephone operator for a time and also worked at the bowling alley in Breckenridge, which her family owned. She was once married to Donald Diederich Sr. and they had six children together. They lived in West Fargo for a short time, before moving to Minot in the early 1950's, where Lorraine has since lived. She has been residing at Manor Care Nursing Home for the past nine years. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot. Survivors: children, Marcia (Steven) Hovde, Chandler, AZ, Donald "Butch" (Lilah) Diederich Jr., Kathleen (Douglas) Benjamin, Minot, Mary "Banjo" (Delane) Brandt, Jamestown, Barb (Ed) Patterson, Minot and Kristi (Matt) Howard, Minot; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and brother, Robert (Teri) Bodson, Harrison, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clarence Bodson, Jr. Funeral: Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot. Visitation: Monday from noon until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
