Audrey M. Dickinson 1936 - 2009 Audrey was born on April 5, 1936 in Minot, ND the daughter of Arthur and Zora (Harris) Larson. She was reared and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1954. On June 26, 1954, she married Eugene (Gene) Dickinson in Minot. Following their marriage, the couple purchased a farm north of Surrey in Maryland Township, Ward County. They farmed there and she also worked in dietary at Trinity Medical Center, the Spice N'Spirit and North K-Mart. Audrey also had an egg processing business and along with her husband Gene raised and sold exotic birds. She also raised exotic animals, such as llamas, goats and donkeys. Later they moved into Minot, but retained their Surrey home. Her husband Gene died on January 10, 1995. She had resided in an apartment until moving recently into Manor Care. Audrey was a member of the Dakota Feather and Fur Club. She
was a former member of the Maryland Township Board, the Minot
Eagles Aerie, the Moose Lodge and Trail Riders. Those who shared in her life are: sons, Daniel L (Peggy) Dickinson, Surrey, ND and Jeff A. (Mary) Dickinson, Bismarck, ND; daughters, Susan J. (Don) Garrabrant, Ohio and Sherry R. (Jim) Engel, Surrey; daughter-in-law, Rosie Dickinson, Surrey; grandchildren, Troy (Stephanie), Torrey, Erick, Kyle (Bobbie), Brandon (fiancée, Kelly) and Jackson Dickinson; Heather (Derek) Thorson; Joshua Engel; Travis (Cassie), Tracy and Trisha Garrabrant; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Logan, Wyatt, Morgan, Easton, Charlie, Hailey and "one on the way" ; sister, Janice (Ruben) Renfandt, Sawyer; sisters-in-law, Liz Larson, Jill (L. Curtis) Luchsinger and Keith (Linda) Dickinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene; daughter Kathryn (Kathy) and sons, Timothy (Tim) and William (Bill) and two brothers, Bob and Paul. Funeral: Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11a.m.. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND Visitation: Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Officiant: Rev.
