As a young child, she and her family moved to Minot, where she attended Minot public schools. Alice met Glenn Dickey in the spring of 1947. They were united in marriage October 16, 1948, in Minot. Alice and Glenn were caregivers for Alice's mother, Lillian, who lived with them for 37 years. She was a very loving and generous wife, sister and aunt. Her nieces and nephews were always welcome in her house. Every summer she invited them to come and stay with her and Glenn. Alice and Glenn loved to travel as they made numerous trips
to Minnesota, Montana, and Idaho. A few of their favorites were
