Donald "Don" E. Devoe 1943 - 2010

Donald "Don" Devoe PhoteDonald “Don” E. Devoe, 67, Minot, formerly of Williston, ND, died Sunday, October 31, 2010 in a Minot hospital.

Donald was born on June 27, 1943, a son of Everett and Ruth (Turner) Devoe, in Casper, WY. He was raised and educated in various schools, graduating from Wolf Point High School in 1961.

On July 3, 1961, Donald enlisted into the US Navy. He proudly served his country until he was honorably discharged on November 4, 1968.

Donald was united in marriage to Darlene Albert on August 26, 1972. They made their home in Williston, where Don was the owner/operator of Don’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning service in Williston, until ill health forced him into retirement. In 1999 they moved to Minot.

Donald was a member of the West Minot Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, watching TV, dancing, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family.

                Wife of 38 years, Darlene, Minot;
Children: Jaylene (Chris) Fousha, Billings, MT, Danielle Devoe, Vallejo, CA, Christopher (Jodi) Devoe, Sheboygan, WI, Angela (Larry) Sanders, Aberdeen, SD, Michelle (fiancée James Lund) Devoe, Bismarck, ND, Amber (Chad) Vannett, Minot; 16grandchildren: sisters: Shirley McLean Spokane, WA; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and a few aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service in the church.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 1 pm at the West Minot Church of God, Minot

Burial:  Thursday, at 2:00 pm at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND
